How would you describe your ideal partner?: Kind, sweet, homebody, able to love a little girl not their own

How often, and from whom do you ask advice?: I get advice constantly from everybody. I try to trust myself on which person I should, or shouldn’t listen to.

What is a recent prominent event in your life, and how has it affected you?: I got my divorce finalized at the end of 2024. I filed in April 2023 when I discovered my wife was cheating on me.
What is the best advice that you give to your children?: Pursue happiness over money. Money never bought one extra minute of time, so enjoy the time you have
What has produced the biggest impression (shock) on you?: My ex wife is a narcissistic sociopath and pathological liar. It really hurt my ability to trust.
The last books that you read?: I’m not 100% sure, it was definitely a Conan story from Robert E Howard. I often revisit those stories
What are your goals now?: Be a good dad. Find love again, get married
Whom do you admire?: I admire JK Rowling who is standing up for women’s right to fair competition in the face of massive insane opposition to let transgenders into women sports, bathrooms, prisons. I don’t understand letting males in those spaces I don’t care what mental illness they have.
Do you have a lot of friends?: No. I did before Covid, I lost a lot of friends because of Covid. Also I lost friends over my divorce too.
What qualities do you dislike most in those of your gender?: Arrogance. There is a big difference between being confident and refusing to listen to anyone who might have a different perspective.
What qualities do you dislike most in the people of the opposite sex?: Cheating, dishonesty, lack of empathy or respect.
What would you like to change in yourself?: My weight. I gained a lot of weight over the last few years, but have no time to join a gym. I’m hoping when my daughter starts school in 2026 I will have time.
What are your weaknesses?: I have been hurt, and now I have trust issues

What are your favourite games?: I play online app games when stuck in place. I used to run dungeon and dragon games at my local game shop, before my daughter was born.
Who are your favourite writers and poets?: JK Rowling, Robert Jordan, Robert E Howard, CS Lewis. I would add Professor DM, and Kelsey Dionne. They are not very famous but are published writers.
What kinds of music do you like?: Older music a lot 70s music is in my playlists right now. Kenny Rodgers, Dolly Parton, Queen, America, Gordon Lightfoot. When I was younger I saw Metallica in concert maybe 4-5 times.
What is your favourite food?: Burger. I’m actually a cook, and my late mother was a cook. I have a wide range of tastes but a good burger is always a joy.
What are your favourite films?: I don’t really have favorites anymore. I enjoy most things except heavy dramas, or horror films. Except zombie movies, the one horror genre I enjoy.
What is your favourite fairy-tale?: Star Wars the original trilogy. It is a fairy tale, it starts with a long, long time ago…
What is your favourite activity or hobby?: Dungeons and Dragons, but I don’t get to play anymore I have no time.
